We are committed to providing high-quality customer service to our tenants. It's important to us that renters feel safe, comfortable and cared for in our homes.

 

We're also dedicated to working with our tenants to keep LIVV WELL properties in great shape. Everyone deserves a nice home, and our owners trust us to be good stewards of the great properties they provide! Please, help us preserve and maintain an awesome home for many future residents.

 

Below you'll find a list of important items to accomplish as you move into your new home.

Move-in Checklist

We hope your move goes smoothly! Don't forget to complete the following activities within a few days of your scheduled move-in date.

  • Renter's Insurance. If you haven't already done so, find and purchase a renter's insurance policy! Protecting yourself and your belongings is quick, simple and affordable — and it's required for tenants of LIVV WELL homes. Find more information and get help obtaining coverage, here.

  • Utilities. Set up utilities at your new home by contacting service providers using the information provided by your property management coordinator. Establish new service accounts as soon as possible to avoid going without vital utilities. Also, be sure to shut off or transfer the utilities at your old place to avoid unnecessary charges! Utilities that tenants are responsible for setting up and maintaining vary depending on the home but may include the following: water, sewer, electricity, gas, trash, recycling, cable, internet, telephone, home security, lawn care, snow removal, city services, community maintenance, pool access and maintenance, gym access and maintenance, community security, and association fees. Contact your property management coordinator if you have questions.

  • Mail. Update your address with the U.S. Postal Service, here. With a few clicks and a $1.05 charge to your credit card (the charge verifies your identity), USPS® mail and package forwarding services will direct your mail to your new address.

  • Walk-through Checklist. Complete a move-in property condition form. For ease, you can complete the online form below (preferred) OR you can print, complete and sign this form; then scan and email the completed form to your property management coordinator.

Walk-through Checklist

Use this checklist to document the condition of your home during a walk-through within a few days of your scheduled move-in date.

Instructions: Skip or enter "Good" for each element of the home that is in working and/or satisfactory condition. If something about the home is less than satisfactory condition, please describe the condition, so we can ensure it's documented for you!

 

By submitting this form, you agree to the following: you have inspected your home and found the unit to be in good, safe and sanitary condition; any deficiencies are noted in the form; you recognize and agree that you are responsible for keeping the home in good condition; in the event of damage, beyond normal wear, you agree to pay the cost to restore the home to its original condition; and you understand a corresponding amount may be deducted from your security deposit, if necessary. 

If a completed walk-through checklist is not submitted to us within 7 days of your move-in date, LIVV WELL Property Management and tenants agree that the home is in good, safe and sanitary condition and that no real or personal property on the premises are damaged, deficient or flawed in any respect.
